CHANGI BEACH SEAFOOD PARADISE

An established Chinese restaurant set in the Changi Beach Club, atop a pier leading out to the sea on Changi Beach, this restaurant was the choice for weddings and corporate events that wanted to capitalise on the view and location.

The Challenge

The client wanted to rebrand their restaurant. Previously managed by tenants, the club had decided to bring the restaurant operations in-house and thus needed a new brand and menu.

Our Solution

In order not to detract from the tradition of the restaurant that patrons and club members loved, we decided to keep a Chinese text and font. We added a pair of carp that were facing up to denote rising abundance and longevity.

The Result

To make the logo modern, we used more modern font styles for both the English and Chinese wordings, as well as a contemporary design technique on the icons of the carp.
